Faculties:
Faculties are the basic units of the University which implement their own academic programmes. Departments and Institutes are responsible for the delivery of courses and for research.
Autonomous Academic Faculty Bodies:
- The Academic Senate of the Faculty - represents the academic community of the Faculty approves its statute and other legal norms based on the Higher Education Act.
- The Dean - head of the faculty deals with matters concerning the faculty and acts on its behalf
- The 3 Vice-Deans are each responsible for one of the following areas: academic affairs, research and international relations.
- The Academic Council of each Faculty is the advisory body of the Dean, especially in academic affairs and research. It makes decisions concerning the award of the academic degrees of docent (senior lecturer) and professor
- The Faculty Disciplinary Board - deals with for disciplinary matters concerning students
The Faculty Academic Secretary is responsible for Faculty finance and administration.
Office of Academic Affairs of each Faculty provides administration connected with academic matters.
