General arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
General Rules for the Recognition of Previous Studies
- Recognition of subjects completed during previous study at a different higher education institution in the Czech Republic or abroad is in accordance with articles 26 to 33 of the Study and Examination Regulations of UWB in Pilsen.
- Recognition of subjects completed by the student during his or her study visit abroad or at another higher education institution in the Czech Republic is in accordance with article 33 of the Study and Examination Regulations of UWB in Pilsen. The precondition is, however, a study contract -Learning Agreement -between the student and home faculty and a record of completed study tasks -Transcript of Records -confirmed by the visited institution. The recognition is entered in the Proof of Recognition. In case the visited institution makes use of the ECTS credit system, credits are recognized to the extent to which they were allocated.
- Recognition of completed parts of study programmes/subjects concerning graduates of a lifelong learning programme is in accordance with article 31 of the Study and Examination Regulations of UWB in Pilsen.
- Recognition of completed parts of study programmes / subjects concerning graduates of a higher professional school is in accordance with an agreement between the faculty and higher professional school.
