General registration procedures

Student applies for study through electronic application or sends paper application. Faculty invites him/her for an entrance exam or interview. The result of the exam is given in the form of Decision of admission or non-admission.

Student applies for a short term study stay through electronic application at the university portal. Subjects from the Information package & Course catalogue of UWB are to be filled in the electronic application and then transferred to the Learning Agreement. A list of courses that faculties offer in a foreign language (mainly in English) is published for every academic year. Faculty approves or disapproves student application for the short term study stay based on the submitted application form. Student is registered electronically in the university Information System (IS/STAG). After the student’s arrival the final registration is made by the responsible officer at the faculty’s admission office. Orientation week is organized prior each semester for all incoming international students to make them acquainted with the university facilities and place of study.
