Prvním cílem je studie možností detekce a lokalizace armovacích tyčí v železobetonových konstrukcích JE. Cílem druhé části je detekce a lokalizace možných povrchových a vnitřních trhlin a dutin v betonové stěně. Využívá se „impakt-echo“ metody, tj. odrazu rázových elastických vln od nehomogenit nebo nespojitostí. Modelování se provádí metodou konečných prvků.

The possibility study of detection and localization of reinforcing rod in reinforced concrete structures of NPP is the first aim. The detection and localization of possible surface and inner crack and cavities in concrete wall is the aim of the second part. The „ impact- echo" method, i. e. transient elastic waves reflection from inhomogeneities or discontinuities is employed. The simulation is carried out by the finite elements method.
