Entry to our study programmes usually requires submission of a verified copy of secondary school-leaving certificates (for study in Undergraduate study programmes) or a verified copy of recognised university diplomas (for study in Postgraduate study programmes).
Candidates must complete and submit the following documents.
- Complete and send an on-line application form completed at least 8 months before the beginning of study (January-February)
To be sent to the Students Affairs Offices:
- curriculum vitae (CV)
- motivation letter
- copy of the passport page with a photograph and personal data
- verified copy of secondary school-leaving certificates (for study in Bachelor study programmes) or verified copy of recognised university diplomas (for study in Postgraduate study programmes)
- copies of all other diplomas and qualification certificates obtained • document or confirmation of English or Czech language knowledge
Please note that all copies of secondary school-leaving certificates must, according to Czech law, be legally recognized. In order to undertake a programme of study in the Czech or English language, you will need to demonstrate a suitable level of proficiency. You can demonstrate your level of Czech with CCE (Czech Language Certificate Exam) qualification or successful completion of a preparatory course in Czech as a foreign language at the University of West Bohemia. Minimal Czech language requirements are level B1 according to CEFR. You can demonstrate your level of English with IELTS/TOEFL qualifications (IELST score 6 – 6.5; TOEFL PBT score 549 – 563; TOEFL CBT score 210 – 230).
Please note that Czech and English tests/qualifications normally need to have been taken within two years of the start date of your programme.
