Abstrakt EN: The paper deals with supervision system for high speed cutting (HSC) spindle with active magnetic bearings (AMB). Main roles of the system are diagnosis and adaptation of cutting proces and spindle properties, detection and correction of system component faults. A framework of the system on the highest level is defined and some lower-level functions are mentioned in the paper. Experimental validation will be done on a test rig miniVS manufactured by MECOS Traxler, GmbH. Several modification of the test rig are proposed.
