Abstrakt EN: DC actuator-based linear drives must satisfy not only required static and dynamic characteristics in all considered operation regimes but also withstand the temperature rise of the most exposed structural parts, such as the field coil insulation. The paper presents a general methodology of their design that is illustrated on analysis and optimization of a typical electromagnet used in chemical industry.
