Abstrakt CZ: Effort in continual improvement of material and also structural qualities of steel leads to producing of new industrial processes and technologies and to their subsequentional optimalization. To relatively new technologies can be included also the process of cross rolling process. With usage of this method it is possible to reduce the diameter of hollow semi-products and with suitable process parameters also to refine the structure and improve mechanical qualities. The aim was to measure the influence of deformation on final structure of thick-walled tube in the deformation zone. Variable parameters influencing the intensity and distribution of the deformation were the removal size ane extrusion temperature. The state analysis of deformed material was implemented metallografically, with help of corn size evaluation.
