Pro dobré sousedství jsou nezbytné nejen lidské, ale i profesionální přeshraniční vztahy. V oblasti územního rozvoje a regionálního plánování je potřebné srovnání nástrojů pro rozvoj území na obou stranách hranice. Zmíněné srovnání se týká jak obsahového vymezení používaných termínů, tak i metodiky užití nástrojů.

In the area of territorial development and regional planning it is important to compare tools for territorial development on both sides of the border. „To compare“ means to delimit and define both terminology usage and methodology usage of the tools.
