Abstrakt EN: Distribution of eddy currents in very thin nonferromagnetic plates exposed by harmonic magnetic flux is modeled. The electromagnetic field inside the plate is described by electric vector potential. Derived are relations for current densities induced in the plate and volumetric Joule losses. Presented are important results of a typical example.
