|Abstrakt EN:||The aim of research is to develop novel nanocomposite composed of thermoplastic potato starch as a matrix and layered silicate (sodium montmorillonite) as a filler. Using of glycerol as a plasticizer and reinforcing sodium montmorillonite as a filler keeps environmentally friendly character of final product. Two basic aspects of developed material were examined? compatibility between starch and montmorillonite, and mechanical strength of pure thermoplastic starch. Three kinds of starch of thermoplastic starches were chosen for systhesis: native starch and cationized starches with different degree of cationization. Starches were plasticized in water solution by 30 wt.%, resp. 20 wt.% of glycerine. Foils of these thermoplastic starches were prepared and their mechanical properties were examined by tensile test.|
