Po Gaussově přístupu k prostoru jako samonosné entity se otevírají nové geometrie - Lobačevského hyperbolická a Riemannova eliptická. Tak je alespoň klasifikoval Felix Klein. Ukážeme si základní charakteristiky a modely těchto geometrií v kontextu dějin matematiky 19. století.

On Gauss' attempt to a space as a self-contained entity, new geometries -- hyperbolic one by Lobachevsky and elliptic one by Riemann - are opened. Classification of geometries are by Felix Klein. We show basic characteristics and models of these geometries in a context of history of mathematics of 19th century.
