Abstrakt CZ: This paper introduces a new control algorithm for single-phase voltage-source active rectifier. The proposed control strategy uses a direct current control with reactive power compensation. The theoretical conclusions of this research are verified by experiments made on developed low-voltage laboratory prototype of voltage-source single-phase active rectifier. This paper is accompanied by a harmonic analysis of current, which is drawn by the active rectifier from the catenary.
