Abstrakt EN: Sophisticated methods of automatic adaptivity in finite element methods of higher order of accuracy are presented. The main attention is paid to hp-adaptivity techniques that exhibit the highest level of flexibility and exponential convergence of results. The technologies implemented in our own fully adaptive FEM codes Agros2D and Hermes2D based on a higher-order finite element method are illustrated by three typical examples.
