|Abstrakt EN:||The research therefore aims to demonstrate importance of continuous health and psychosocial support of women in puerperium by community midwives at their home environment. The research takes place in the Pilsen Region at the Czech Republic and is unique by its focus, because it is not common for midwives to provide postpartum community care to women in puerperium for free and for prophylactic reasons. Two groups of women in puerperium were compared by experiment; each group consists of 100 women in puerperium. In one group there are women in puerperium, which are being looked after by midwife right after release from hospital care and the second group are women in puerperium, which do not receive any care at their community. Women in both groups are subject to certain criteria: they will not be burdened with personal anamnesis and will not suffer with serious health complications during the birth. The result of the experiment will determine, whether continuous midwifery care for women after giving birth performed at their homes leads to prevention of health complications in the puerperium period. Accurate care plans, special documentation and plan of supervising meetings were created to carry out community care of midwifes for women in puerperium. The outcome of the research will be evidence of importance of community midwifery care for women after childbirth.|
