Abstrakt EN: The laser welding with induction pre-heating and post-heating is modeled. This combined heat treatment is used in order to reduce high temperature gradients in the surface layers of the processed material characteristic for heating by the sole laser beam, and, consequently, the mechanical strains and stresses of thermal origin. The algorithm is used for the solution of a typical example ? welding of two massive plates. Selected results are verified experimentally.
