Abstrakt EN: This article deals with possibility of optimization of design of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) for control algorithms with zero direct axis (d-axis) current component. Based on analysis of its phasor diagram a method of estimation of important design parameters is proposed and verified on existing machines.
