Abstrakt EN: The paper discusses the methodology for calculating parasitic capacitances in traction induction machine. The finite element method (FEM) is used in 2D electrostatic formulation to describe the real cross-section of the machine. Calculated parasiticcapacitances are compared to the experimental results and used for assembly of the overall capacitance equivalent circuit suitable for high frequency current calculation.
