Abstrakt EN: The purpose of contribution was to show the results of research of three burnt burials excavated from two mounds in Bernhardsthal. This case study forms part of a larger project on taphonomy of cremation. The general aim of research was to show how we can reconstruct the pathway of burnt bones after burning and how type of deposit can influence final archaeological record and bone condition (amount, size, fragmentation).
