Abstrakt CZ: The paper shows some results of velocity profile measurement carried on an aerodynamic diffuser tunnel in the laboratory of the Department of Power System Engineering, University of West Bohemia. Results from two experimental methods (pneumatic probe and PIV) are compared in this study. An additional comparison with numerical simulation is presented in the paper. These initial measurements mean a base for the further study of the influence of synthetic jet on flows and losses in the diffuser.
