Abstrakt EN: Zinc oxide is an II-VI semiconductor with wide band-gap (3.37 eV), transparent in the wavelength region from 350 to >800 nm and with high exciton binding energy (60 meV) at room temperature. All this properties make from ZnO suitable candidate for many applications, especially in optoelectronics, photonics in the blue and ultraviolet spectral region, solar cells as transparent conductive oxides and back reflectors etc.
