Mathematics in Education

Students of this study programme understand the logical structures of mathematics and elementary proof techniques. They become familiar with algebra and geometry.

In the course of study, students master mathematical analysis, algebra and geometry. Moreover, they become familiar with mathematical modelling, discrete mathematics, probability and statistics. Part of this study programme is a block of courses focused on teaching methods in the field and pedagogical - psychological topics.

After graduation, students have the possibility of continuing their studies in the Master’s degree programme Teaching Mathematics for Elementary or Secondary School.
