Lower Secondary School Teacher Training in Chemistry

This study programme focuses on the basics of chemistry, topics related to modern chemistry, and its didactics and history. Students focus on didactic issues, specific teaching methods and educational programmes.

In the course of study, students participate in theoretical and practical courses focused on professional chemistry and its didactics. Part of this study programme is a block of courses focused on teaching methods in the field and pedagogical-psychological topics. The programme also includes practical training.

Graduates find employment mainly as teachers of chemistry at elementary schools.
