HR AWARD

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was among the first faculties in the Czech Republic to receive the HR Award, which is awarded to research organizations by the European Commission. We ensure compliance with the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.

AWARDS FOR THE FACULTY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

In March 2019, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering received the prestigious HR Excellence in Research award, which is awarded by the European Commission to research institutions implementing the HRS4R strategy. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is thus obliged to adhere to the proposed steps in the action plan for a period of two years, which will lead to improved recruitment and selection of employees, working conditions, personal and career development of employees, education of our employees and work results of our employees. It is a matter of course that we meet all legal, social and moral standards, which generally apply to all employees of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The HR Award, or more precisely HR Excellence in Research, is a mark awarded by the European Commission to research organizations that comply with the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.

As part of its human resources development, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering has signed up to the European Charter for Researchers and follows the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers

in the following areas:
- ethical and professional aspects
- recruitment and selection of staff
- working conditions for our employees
- training and development of employees

The implementation of individual processes, governed by the charter and code, is done within the university-wide project HR Award reg. Number: CZ.02.2.69/0.0/0.0/16_28/0006188.
