This four-year doctoral study programmeme aims at students who want to deepen their knowledge of industrial engineering and management and become experts in the field. Students gain in-depth knowledge of design, planning and effective operation of a digital factory using tools and methods for optimizing business processes.

Students become familiar with digital production systems and corporate information systems. Moreover, they understand business processes, strategic management and human resources management. Students master the innovative processes applied in engineering companies and gain insight into virtual manufacturing systems, production control, production costs, management, business process modeling, simulation and logistics and animation systems.

Graduates find employment in modern management of engineering companies. Thanks to their extensive knowledge of modern management, graduates can work as top managers of various departments. As highly qualified professionals, they can also work in research or education.
