Lower Secondary School Teacher Training in History

This study programme is focused on topics related to Czech and world history. Students focus on pedagogical issues, specific teaching methods and educational programmes.

In the course of study, students participate in theoretical courses of Czech and general history, and gain knowledge of auxiliary historical sciences, historiography, and regional history. Part of this study programme is a block of courses focused on teaching methods in the field and pedagogical- psychological topics. The programme also includes practical training.

Graduates find employment mainly as teachers of history at elementary schools.
