This study programme is designed for students interested in mathematics, statistics, computer science and finance. The acquired knowledge is further developed in follow-up study courses focused on financial informatics, computational statistics, financial and actuarial mathematics, business models, information theory, mathematical economics and basics of random processes. What will I learn

Students learn how to use the methods related to mathematics and statistics, as well as to apply and use mathematical principles and methods in economics applications and financial models. Moreover, they learn how to work with commercial and open software tools for statistical data processing and simulations, as well as to analyse economic data and identify possible problems.

Career

After successful completion of the Bachelor’s study programme, students can continue to the follow-up Master’s degree Mathematics and Financial Studies. Students find employment at analytical and consulting companies focused on economics and financial services.
