Biology in Education

Students of this study programme become familiar with all topics of modern biology. They understand molecular and cell biology, as well as the basics of genetics, and botanical and zoological anatomy. Students gain in-depth knowledge of biological systems, geological sciences and ecology.

In addition to theoretical courses in cell biology, genetics and histology, students learn how to independently work in biology laboratories with binocular microscopes and magnifying glasses. Students participate in botanical, zoological or mycological educational excursions. Moreover, they focus on educational and psychological topics.

Graduates have the possibility of continuing their studies in the Master’s degree programme Teacher Training in Biology for Elementary or Secondary School.
