The study programme is focused on philosophy, sociology, political science, law, economics, ecology, psychology, antropology and ethics. By completing the programme of Civic Education with Focus on Education, graduates get prepared for the possibility of continuing their studies in Master’s degree programme, ideally Teacher Training in Civics for Elementary School and Teacher Training in Civics for High School.

What will I learn

Graduates demonstrate knowledge of the fields forming the base of civic education. They have basic knowledge in the field of philosophy, sociology, political science, law, economics, ecology, psychology, antropology and ethics. They are able to evaluate their communication skills, collect and analyze data in a team, formulate arguments and present a team work in public. They are competent in one of the world languages at the level B2. They know how to approach teaching with elements of information technology in a propper way. They are able to evaluate their study results and dispositions to choose their further curricular development.

Career

Graduates may find employment mainly in public administration, social care, probation service, libraries, culture, publishing houses, editorial services, leisure time activities, the media or in the political sphere.
