Description

Students of the study programme Radiological Assistance become experts who can independently work with radiological imaging methods and radiation techniques. Students participate in internship programmes in radiology and radiotherapy departments, as well as in nuclear medicine departments.

What will I learn

Students learn how to independently work with radiological imaging methods and radiation techniques focused on patients of all ages. Courses focus mainly on radiodiagnostics, nuclear medicine and radiooncology, as well as biomedical, social, physical and mathematical sciences. Students understand legal and hygienic norms and directives concerning health service.

Career

Graduates find employment in departments focused on imaging methods and application of ionizing radiation in outpatient healthcare facilities, inpatient wards, veterinary clinics or in research institutions.
