Upper Secondary School Teacher Training in Geography

In the course of study, students become familiar with the basics of physical, humanistic, historical, cultural and regional geography. They also learn more about specific teaching methods and educational programmes.

In the course of study, students participate in theoretical courses, focused primarily on physical, humanic and regional geography. Subjects focused on subject didactics and pedagogical-psychological propaedeutics are included in the study plan. The programme includes teaching practice too.

Graduates find employment mainly as teachers of geography at high schools. They are ready to continue their studies or to start their teaching practice straight away.
