Upper Secondary School Teacher Training in Sport

The aim of this study programme is to understand physical education and sport on both theoretical and practical levels. Students use traditional and digital technologies to organize teaching units and courses for various age groups.

In the course of study, students participate in theoretical courses focused on kinanthropology. Part of this study programme is a block of courses focused on teaching methods in the field and pedagogical-psychological topics. The programme also includes practical training. Students understand various physical activities and learn how to motivate students to have an active lifestyle.

Graduates find employment mainly as teachers of physical education at secondary schools. Moreover, they have the possibility of continuing their studies in various educational programmes.
