Upper Secondary School Teacher Training in Music

This study programme is designed for students who want to understand music both in theoretical and practical terms. Students gain in-depth knowledge of modern teaching methods and are involved in the creation of texts and teaching aids. Students learn how to work with musical compositions of various genres and musical forms, both in text form and in the form of sound.

In the course of study, students participate in theoretical courses focused on music. Part of this study programme is a block of courses focused on teaching methods in the field and pedagogical-psychological topics. The programme also includes practical training.

Graduates find employment mainly as teachers of music at secondary schools. Moreover, they have the possibility of continuing their studies in various educational programmes.
