Lower Secondary School Teacher Training in the Technology and Design

This study programme is aimed at students of mathematics, engineering, electronics and automation. Emphasis is put on the positive relationship to nature. Based on their knowledge, students can find solutions to ecological and economic issues. Moreover, they learn how to prepare an effective lesson plan.

Theoretical courses are focused on the creation of project documentation, construction materials and technical creativity. In addition to this, students learn how to work with manual and mechanical cutting tools, design appropriate machining technologies and create simple structural drawings. Students participate in educational excursions and give lessons at elementary schools.

Graduates find employment mainly as teachers of technical education at elementary schools.
