Lower Secondary School Teacher Training in the Physics

This study programme is aimed at students interested in theoretical and practical physics and its application. Students become familiar with the historical development of physics from its origin to modern times. They learn modern didactic methods and how to use modern teaching aids.

In the course of study, students participate in theoretical courses focused on general and modern physics and its theory. Part of this study programme is a block of courses focused on teaching methods in the field and pedagogical-psychological topics. The programme also includes practical training.

Graduates find employment mainly as teachers of physics at elementary schools.
