Applied Physics and Physical Engineering

Students of this programme gain deep knowledge of applied physics, physical engineering and material science. They learn how to use modern computer technology for the control and evaluation of various technological processes.

This study programme offers two specializations. Physics of technological processes is focused on solid state physics and on physics of plasmas and thin films. Physical-mathematical modelling is aimed at continuum mechanics, hydrodynamics, thermodynamics and modelling of technological processes.

After graduation, students have the possibility of continuing their studies in a doctoral study programme focused on applied physics.
