💡 Case Study: Pilsner Daseinsanalysis

This project serves as an excellent example of a successful student-led initiative within the EUPeace Alliance. The workshop, titled "Pilsner Daseinsanalysis," was developed through direct collaboration between students from UWB and the University of Marburg.

What was the project about? Students integrated philosophy, psychology, and the arts to explore how the urban environment of Pilsen influences human experience and identity. They took theoretical concepts out of the classroom and into the streets through discussions and artistic performances.

Why was it successful?

  • International Collaboration: It established a direct link between students from two different countries.

  • Interdisciplinarity: The project successfully merged humanities with practical artistic expression.

  • Public Impact: Rather than staying within faculty walls, the initiative engaged with the city's public spaces.

This example demonstrates that EUPeace grants can be used for academically-driven events that bridge the gap between specialized research, the public sphere, and the international community.
